Too Pure to be Pink

I saw a few of these Pink Ladies painted on the sidewalk on my walk home from work yesterday.
Does anyone know what they are for?
Are they painted in more areas than between Dupont and U St?
Very intriguing.

    I'll ask at the next meeting of the Vast Left Wing Conspiracy. Perhaps the Gay Agenda subcommittee has an update.
